Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung (CHE Consult)

CHE Consult (Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung) is a private research, further education and consulting institution with 18 staff members. CHE Consult works on areas such as HE funding, QA, benchmarking, budgeting, marketing, and internationalization.
CHE Consult has conducted projects to introduce and improve QM at the University of Applied Sciences Coburg and the University of Luxemburg. Staff has acted as reviewers on quality management systems on various occasions, are members of QA bodies and have been personally involved in the development and running of QA offices in German universities in positions prior to working at CHE Consult. CHE Consult is a highly respected partner renowned for its sound QA methodologies. It is currently involved as a QA partner in projects such as EXIST, Social Entrepreneurship Academy and Campus Culturae, IRIS (TEMPUS) and SuToMa (TEMPUS) totaling over 10 million Euros in project volume.

University of Roskilde (RUC)

Roskilde University is a public university conduction research and providing research based education on bachelor-, master- and ph.d.-level. Based in 1972, today RUC has more than 9500 students and is the fifth-largest university in Denmark. Basic educational principles at RUC are problem-oriented project work, participant direction and joint responsibility.
During the last few years, quality management at RUC has changed from being a more informal quality culture deeply rooted in academic staff to a more formal quality system as demanded by the external quality assurance agents (accreditation).

Politehnica Bucharest

With more than 180 years of existence, UPB represents one of the fundamental and prestigious institutions of Romanian HE. UPB has 13 faculties: undergraduate studies in 15 fields with 66 distinct specializations; M.Sci. studies in 15 fields with 97 distinct specializations; Ph.D. studies in 19 fields. The syllabus of each program of studies is designed at the level of faculties and chairs. Each chair elaborates  “Subject Identification”; there are stated the competences resulted from a given discipline, its content, the evaluation procedures, and the number of credits, as well as bibliography. The scientific research, traditionally, is one of the components of the activity.

WUS Austria is a politically independent, non-governmental organization committed to academic freedom and the right to education. WUS Austria has implemented numerous projects aimed at direct support to the reform and development of higher education in SEE in line with European and international standards. Besides strong institutional partnerships with SEE universities, WUS Austria has furthermore established large thematic networks with EU partners (inter alia on brain gain, student mobility, connecting universities with society, labor marker oriented curricula etc) . Facilitating cooperation and knowledge transfer between SEE and EU universities, WUS Austria positioned itself as one of the most important operative partners for SEE knowledge society in providing support (technical, financial) and consultancy for a faster, more efficient implementation of EU reforms. Agentur für Qualitätssicherung durch Akkreditierung von Studiengängen (AQAS)

AQAS is a Germany-based quality assurance agency conducting as well as programme accreditations and institutional reviews. It operates within the framework of the German Accreditation Council (Akkreditierungsrat) and its seal. It is a full member of ENQA and follows the “European Standards and Guidelines” (ESG) in its activities. AQAS is listed in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).
In the international context AQAS has coordinated accreditation processes of programmes and degrees offered jointly by German universities with international partner institutions as well as programmes offered entirely by non-German universities in LU, LI, AT and KZ using the ESG as criteria in the accreditation process. AQAS has also conducted trainings for QA professionals from Russia and has experience in established a professional exchange between different QA systems. It is therefore ideally suited to be a partner in this project.

The National Unions of Students in Europe (ESU)

The National Unions of Students in Europe (ESIB) is an umbrella organisation of 45 National Unions of Students (NUS) from 38 countries (September 2011). The NUSes are open to all students in their respective country regardless of political persuasion, religion, ethnic or cultural origin, sexual orientation or social standing. Our members are also student-run, autonomous, and representative and operate according to democratic principles. The aim of ESIB is to represent and promote the educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at the European level towards all relevant bodies and in particular the European Union, Bologna Follow Up Group, Council of Europe and UNESCO. Through its members, ESU represents over 11 million students in Europe.
One of the main priorities of ESU for 2012, besides the social dimension of HE, HE funding, the students’ participation in decision making in HE, mobility and internationalisation, represents the quality assurance of HE.

State University of Moldova (SUM)

Moldova State University (MSU) is a HEI which provides professional and scientific formation according to the international quality standards. MSU is the largest HEI in RoM and offers 68 specialities in 1 Cycle and 137 MA programmes for the 2 Cycle. Alecu Russo Balti State University is the center of the University Complex which embraces all levels of education: pre-university, university, post-university. State University Cahul (SUC)

Cahul State University “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” (SUC) is a public institution which was founded in 1999. Its aim is to train and provide the southern region of the Republic of Moldova with highly qualified professionals. SUC includes three faculties: Faculty of Philology and History, Faculty of Law and Public Administration and the Faculty of Economy, Computer Science and Mathematics. Technical University of Moldova (TUM)

State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (SUMPh)

The SUMPh is the main education provider in medical and pharmaceutical domains in Moldova. It comprises 5 faculties: Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, Dentistry and Continuing Medical Education where more than 6 000 students from Moldova and other 26 countries undergo their studies in 4 languages: Romanian, Russian, French and English. Education of students is organized as a 5 to 6-year licence, a 2 to 5-year residency and a 3-year PHD. The University has always been looking for ways to improving its curricula and conditions at all training levels (undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education), institutional management and international cooperation, including student’s mobility. In this context, SUMPh elaborated the "Strategy for Medical Education Development" in 2010 which mainly focuses on the improvement of the educational process quality at all levels and with the intention to integrate higher medical education from Republic of Moldova in the European medical community.

Tiraspol State University (TSU)

Tiraspol State University TSU - the first institution of higher education in Moldova was founded in 1930 in Tiraspol.
Fields of Study: Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Geography, Tourism, International Economical Relations, Rumanian Language and Literature, Russian Language and Literature, Pedagogy and psychology, Pedagogy of primary education.

The Moldovan Council of Rectors is a public non-governmental organization, which unites rectors of 27 state and private higher education institutions. The Council of Rectors is funded by its member universities in relation to their student enrolment. The Council of Rectors is a discussion forum where university rectors can together acknowledge future challenges and prepare strategies to meet those challenges.
