Invitation to the annual Oskar Halecki lecture of the GWZO in Leipzig on September 3rd

The annual Oskar Halecki lecture of the GWZO persues the goal of inviting top scientists from Germany's eastern neighboring countries to discuss controversial topics.

This year's topic will be "Time stories of the Prague Spring. About the return of the past during the creation of the future." with key speaker Prof. Dr. Martin Schulze Wessel (Ludwig Maximilians university in Munich). He is an expert in Religious History of Eastern Central and Eastern Europe in the Modern Age, Commemorative Culture in Eastern Europe and Transnational Relations.

The lecture will take place on September 3rd at 6 p.m. c.t. at the GWZO (Specks Hof, entrance A, Reichsstraße 4-6).
