Long night of scienes in Leipzig on June 22nd, 2018

The long night of sciences is an event in Leipzig where museums, universities, libraries and other public institutions open their doors until midnight. Visitors have the opportunitiy to see their exhibitions as well as take part in workshops and lectures.

This year's event will take place on June 22nd.

The GWZO also offers a program for adults as well as kids. For example, there will be a join-in lecture, "Living library", where visitors can borrow experts like books and ask them questions. Some of the books will be Prof. Dr. Matthias Hardt, "Leipzig and the slavic world during the middle ages" or Dr. Stephan Krause wirh "East-European football literature".

For kids, there will be a story time with East-European fairytales like the witch Baba Jaga or Bolek und Lolek.
