The compulsory study-abroad unit not only offers the opportunity to gain international experience and to specialise within the study programme in specific European regional areas, but also to get to know different universities and study places within Europe. The study-abroad unit is to be completed during the third semester of the Master’s programme. The stay abroad, with the research fields you become familiar with at the international university you choose, might also be an inspiration and good preparation for the upcoming Master’s thesis. The exchange is based on Erasmus cooperation. Therefore, tuition fees are covered by the Erasmus programme and grants for the study abroad unit are available.
